Winery
Bodegas Martín Códax, founded in 1985 in Cambados (Galicia), is one of the great benchmarks of Atlantic Spanish wine. Although its name is closely linked to Albariño from Rías Baixas, the winery has expanded its expertise to other appellations, such as Bierzo, where the Cuatro Pasos collection is born.
In this area, they work with old Mencía vineyards planted on slate soils and at different altitudes. Their philosophy is based on sustainable viticulture, committed to respecting the environment and expressing the genuine character of the Bierzo terroir.
